Enrollment

Lilyposa Schoolhouse welcomes children between the ages of 2 to 5 years old. Our program is year round and we provide two half-day programs from Monday to Friday. Children may be enrolled for up to five days per week with a minimum two day enrollment. Unless we receive a 30 day notice we plan for our enrolled children to continue with us until they graduate and move on to Kindergarten. While we technically enroll year round (no one is in a contract and we fill a spot immediately if a child leaves) our biggest time of enrollment happens in September of each year.

Please fill out our contact form to secure a spot on our Fall 2026 wait-list.

Registration Process

Please fill out our contact form to be added to our waitlist. We will reach out to you as soon as we know that we might have a spot available for your child and will schedule a tour at that time. We would typically know at least 30 days in advance when we might have an opening. However, we start the process to enroll for September starts many months before around February or March in order to give us ample time to replace the children who are moving on and graduating. We only tour one family at a time as we want to spend ample time answering your questions and getting to know your child and family. We will also use this time to help us assess your child’s fit and readiness for our program.

Usually these tours will happen in the evenings or weekends, we will try our best to find a time that works for you! If you would like to enroll following the tour we will send out our enrollment package and instructions on how to submit enrollment paperwork via our online application. We charge a one time non-refundable $100 registration fee in order to confirm a spot for your child. We do not require children to be potty trained to enroll. We have an onsite changing station and are happy to help support their potty training journey when they are ready.

Waitlist

We maintain two separate wait lists for our morning and afternoon session but you can always sign up for both as this helps ensure that we will have a space available for your child. Please fill out our contact form if you are interested in adding your child to the waitlist. There is no fee to be added. If a spot becomes available and your child is eligible to enroll, we will notify you and schedule a tour to meet us and determine if it is a good fit. It someones takes quite a while (a year or more) for a spot to open but sometimes we have a spot sooner depending on how old your child is and the needs of the current group. Our afternoon wait list tends to move faster as some families indicate that they are interested in that program but when offered the spot they prefer mornings. Please only put your child on the afternoon wait list if you intend to accept that program position when offered.

Immunization Policy

Immunizations are a key component of keeping ourselves, our loved ones and our school family healthy. We follow Oregon guidelines and will check to ensure that each child has up to date immunizations prior to them attending school. You can view additional information from the Oregon Health Authority regarding immunizations here. Our complete immunization policy and other pertinent information will be included in our Parent Handbook that is provided to all families upon enrollment.

Tuition

These rates will become effective September 2026.

Tuition is charged monthly over the course of 12 months. Monthly tuition payment amounts remain the same regardless of planned breaks and holidays or unplanned closures for illness

Two days per week: $335 per month*

Three days per week: $545 per month*

Four Days per week: $715 per month*

Five days per week: $850 per month*

*Tuition subject to yearly cost of living increases. We will always communicate any tuition increases well in advance.

These rates closely reflect a consistent daily rate that is applied evenly to the amount of days that a child is enrolled. We tend to have many friends that really enjoy being at our school once enrolled and we want to be able to offer our friends more days without having to worry about our income consistently decreasing with each day added.

We are a very small school and while the size is a benefit to your child and the classroom dynamic it does make it so that our ability to earn a living from our school is limited. We find this structure will allow us to maintain a more affordable two day option while fairly compensating us for a full five day a week schedule.

We don’t have any other hidden fees that a majority of other schools tack on either yearly or monthly. We strive to be fair, both to ourselves and our student body.

Vacations/Holidays

We have four built in closure weeks per year, which aligns with industry standards. We will generally schedule our breaks in the date ranges as follows. Each year we will communicate the exact dates of closure in our updated parent handbook as well as email reminders prior to the scheduled break.

Annual Break Weeks:

One week break-Last week of December (to include December 25th)

One Week Break-Last Week of March
